No More Styrofoam launches the WooBox on Indiegogo, a 100% recyclable alternative to Styrofoam.
A project aiming to create a replacement for environmentally unfriendly Styrofoam in Belgrade, Serbia is crowdfunding now on Indiegogo.
Created out of natural materials and cleverly designed to fit a variety of transportation and storing requirements, the WooBox is a green alternative to Styrofoam packaging. The team aim to raise $50,000 in order to start a serial production of their innovative product.
With a goal to raise awareness about the threats and issues caused by expanded polystyrene, No More Styrofoam has initiated a small purpose-driven startup that will offer an actual alternative to the use of the material in the food delivery industry – the WooBox.
The interior of the WooBox is created out of the leftovers of the wool industry, providing insulation for food items that will travel long distances. On the outside, the WooBox is created out of wood, guaranteeing the protection for the goods stored inside. Using only natural and eco-friendly materials, the WooBox is one hundred percent recyclable.
