Romania’s first street art festival has taken the artform to a new level – rooftops. The Giants of Pantelimon is a collective, community art project which included international artists as well as locals whose artworks appeared last weekend on the walls and rooftops of local warehouses and factories.
French artists Ella & Pitr worked with the local community to finish the biggest rooftop painting in eastern Europe as part of the festival, which also included an exhibition and talk by famed documentary photographer and Subway Art co-author Martha Cooper.
