Plastic bag Recycling

Hi guys.

My name is Junie Sihlangu and I have a start-up called Tsonga Pride. What we do is upcycle plastic bags to create useful household and clothing items.

So at the moment I am running the company on personal funds as I am a freelance graphic designer and would like to know if anyone has any advice as to what I should be focusing on to be able to expand our reach?

We ultimately want to have a recycling system where people get incentives for recycling the items we use. Create employment by training people in communities to create the items we make. And to also educate people about Green living, climate change and environmental awareness.

I just don’t know who to approach or where to begin to get this thing off the ground.

Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Have you already applied for a Red Bull Amaphiko connect or academy?

Thank you Thulani and I am sorry you didn’t qualify, don’t give up though apply again end of the year for next year. That’s what I am going to do if the interview doesn’t go well, I will keep trying until I make it.
